Plan your visit

The Kensington Club is a San Diego bar and live-music venue established in 1935; its own site says it offers cocktails, beer, and wine and hosts local and national acts, karaoke, and pool. Pearl Club describes its attached performance room as a compact, separate-entrance space for ticketed shows, local and touring musicians, and DJ nights, and says the room is cash-only. The venue posts opening hours of 4 p.m.–2 a.m. Wednesday–Saturday and 6 p.m.–2 a.m. Sunday, and directs visitors to its calendar for upcoming events; hours are not show times.^[1][2]

Do

Bring cash for a ticketed show in the separate performance room, which Pearl Club describes as cash-only.^[1]
